Shame on you GBC

Why would you create a memorial D Day garden at the Hardway and then fail to maintain it. Despite promises that lack of maintenance of the Hardway Green garden would be addressed the grounds team failed to materialise to do anything beyond the seasonal grass cutting.

So a couple of residents fed up with the terrible state of the garden did Gosport Borough Council's work for them today and cleared the planting area of the weed that was strangling the plants. Sadly the planting underneath the weeds has totally suffered and a number of plants are dead.

Come on Gosport Borough Council, how can we expect the young people to respect the memorial area when you have neglected it to this level.
