Hopefully many of you will have already noticed that the DDay memorial area has received much needed tlc from Gosport Council in advance of D Day anniversary on Wednesday.
Please see below a message from Gosport Mayor and Hardway Councillor Diane Furlong :-
“I am going to have a small memorial service Wednesday on the green at 10 am. Short notice, but if anyone wants to join me they would be welcome. Not long back from Twinning in France and was talking about it being tidied up this morning in the town hall when I decided I should do something for 6th June. But if you could possibly let people know in case they would like to join me, I’d be grateful. I know you’ll probably all be at work, but maybe some will want to be there. Kind Regards Diane Furlong
