Information for Thursday 6 June Commemoration Event
At 10.30am, as part of these commemorations, Troops will March down Priory Road from Quay Lane to the Memorial Green by the Hardway Sailing Club.
It is hoped that residents and visitors will line the road and clap the troops as they pass by. A service will then take place on the memorial Green after which, tea, coffee and cakes will be available for all to enjoy.
Memorabilia of the day will be displayed in Hardway Sailing Club along with a film of the embarkation at Hardway.
We look forward to commemorating the 75th anniversary of D-Day in this community centred event and hope you can join us.
