Finally the problems we experience every summer here at Hardway have made the news. If you missed it last night you can find it on BBC IPlayer - here's the link but be quick as it will expire tonight.
The Police and Council advised locals to collect evidence, which they did - I'm sure they now wish they hadn't as there's no denying the video footage.

Hampshire Police and Crime Commissioner was sent details BEFORE the press were contacted, yet there has been no acknowledgement or response.

Last year we tried to engage positively with Hampshire Police and even sent a letter to Head of the Local Policing Delivery Unit which included this offer:-
"If senior officers within Hampshire Police want to better understand the issues at Hardway, to develop an effective community policing plan for summer 2018, or have a desire to improve the relationship with this community we would be delighted to arrange a residents meeting for this purpose. This would be viewed as a positive step forward and would go some way to restoring confidence in the community policing of ASB in our area."
We had no response
We have fully involved the Hardway ward Councillors with updates on incidents and our letter to the PCC was followed up by a similar letter from Hardway Councillor, Jamie Hutchison
Hardway Councillor, Dianne Furlong also attended a pre-arranged meeting with authorities where the issues at hardway were discussed.
Our plea to authorities is that time has come to stop talking about the issues and to take action to end our summer misery, not just this year but for years to come
